The causes of defects, uneven dyeing and other unqualified polyester low elastic yarn are related to the quality of raw material POY and processing conditions, as well as the intact state of the equipment. Therefore, after being put into production, the production management personnel need to further check and adjust the mode of the machine.

Adjustment of friction false twist deformation mechanism
The rotating speed of the friction disc must be measured frequently with a flash velocimeter. If any abnormality is found, check below reasons.

1. Position and inclination of transmission belt
If the position of the transmission belt is inappropriate and it is pressed on one side of the belt pulley for operation, the edge of the transmission belt will be worn, which will not only shorten the service life of the belt and belt pulley, but also cause uneven rotation speed of the ingot group. If the surface of the transmission belt is inclined, the transmission wheel of the friction ingot group will slip and reduce its speed.

2. Tension of drive belt
If the tension of the transmission belt is low, the rotation speed of the friction ingot group will decrease, resulting in uneven crimping and abnormal dyeing of the deformed wire. However, excessive tension will accelerate the wear of the transmission belt and transmission components. Therefore, the transmission belt should maintain appropriate tension.

Generally, the tension of the tension wheel is based on 1m on both sides of the transmission belt, and the elongation is about 1.8%. During continuous operation, the transmission belt will be stretched. It should be checked regularly. If it is found that the transmission belt is loose, the tension must be adjusted.

3. Check if there have scar on the transmission belt
The scar on the transmission belt is the cause of uneven rotating speed of the ingot group and damage to the belt pulley. If the situation is serious, it should be replaced in time.
